Oregon State University is proud to house the Oregon AMP Center for Exellence, a critical component in the efforts to build a foundation for a statewide Alliance of independent state universities working to better serve and retain underrepresented minorities (URM) in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) majors.

The OR AMP Center for Excellence is here to provide leadership, share best practices and resources, and work with each campus to implement successful programming targeted toward URM STEM students. Beyond housing a very successful OSU LSAMP program, OR AMP has access to proven strategies and best practices developed by LSAMP programs throughout the country to better recruit, retain and graduate URM STEM students.
